This Teen Group is designed for adolescents and young adults with ASD to practice social, work and self-advocacy skills in a fun and relaxing atmosphere with activities that build on one another.

This program is for a full spring or fall semester. Entries to this group are available as openings occur each semester. It has a closed number of participants and is limited by age and diagnosis.

Attendance is mandatory for the duration of the group which is typically a semester long. This is an excellent opportunity for teens to make lasting friendships and be provided with social skill feedback by facilitators.

Participants should be between the ages of 13-18, have Asperger’s/PDD-NOS, be interested in attending the group, be independent in their toileting, not require 1 to 1 support, and be able to effectively communicate in a group setting. Individuals should be recommended by their coordinator and may require an interview to be admitted.
