PEERS is a research based social skills program for teenagers with autism spectrum disorders. It utilizes parents as social coaches to facilitate social development outside of the group. It is a 14 week program with 13 lessons and a graduation. PEERS is a comprehensive program that includes didactic lessons and weekly homework assignments.
Participation is dependent on the individual and their parent completing a parent/child interview and meeting qualifications.
